¿Por qué llamamos Home Gelín a nuestros apartamentos?
Home Gelín debe su nombre a nuestro tío Gelín, natural de Santillana del Mar, al igual que nuestros abuelos Joaquín y Saura. Gelín fue un auténtico pionero de la hostelería en la villa, fundando en 1970 el Restaurante Los Blasones, ubicado en la Plaza La Gándara.
En 1991 inauguró la Cervecería Los Blasones, que en 2016 se transformó en La Bodeguca Los Blasones, dando paso a la siguiente generación familiar. Con su apoyo y ejemplo, seguimos hoy su legado, manteniendo vivos los valores de cercanía, hospitalidad y buen hacer que siempre le caracterizaron.
En esta misma casa, donde se encuentra La Bodeguca, hemos creado los dos apartamentos que forman Home Gelín, pensados para que nuestros huéspedes se sientan como en casa y vivan momentos únicos junto a su familia o amigos.
Aunque el tío Gelín ya no está entre nosotros, trabajamos cada día para seguir su camino, tal y como él lo habría hecho y como nos enseñó.
